Palmetto Employee named Greer Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year

We are proud to announce that Greenville Office Manager, Timothy Joner, has been named the J. “Sud” Paget Volunteer of the Year.

The Greer Chamber of Commerce considers the J. “Sud” Paget Volunteer of the Year award the most meaningful awards the Chamber bestows each year.  The Chamber’s website describes the award as being “given to the person who contributes an extraordinary amount of time and expertise for the purpose of helping the Chamber and our community grow and prosper.”

Timothy currently sits on the Greer Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Advisers, was the 2015 Chairman of the Leads Group and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee, Political Action Committee, and Leadership Development Council.  In 2015, Timothy was a graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Greer Class 35.  

Timothy joined the pest professionals at Palmetto Exterminators in 2005, first as a salesman, and in 2008 was promoted to Office Manager.  Timothy, along with his wife and daughter, are residents of Taylors but hope someday to have their home annexed into the Greer city limits.
