Although Palmetto’s Traditional Quarterly Pest Control Service has always been performed in an ecologically sound manner, the introduction of new green products and technologies has allowed Palmetto to develop two green pest control programs to meet the expectations of the environmentally conscious consumer.
Palmetto is one of the first pest control companies in the nation to offer a green service that has earned the prestigious designation of GreenPro. YOUR PALMETTO GREEN OPTIONS
GREEN HYBRID
- A Quarterly Pest Control Service that includes all species of roaches, ants, spiders, mice, rats, mud dauber wasps, paper wasps, centipedes, millipedes, earwigs, silverfish, pill bugs, and sow bugs.
- We inspect the premises to identify pest problems or the potential for pest problems.
- We educate the consumer on eliminating the source of food, water and habitat.
- We inform the consumer about control methods.
- We utilize only the products on Palmetto’s Green Hybrid Products List (products that are natural, organic and biodegradable).
- We physically remove spiders, spider webs, wasp nests and other pests with brushes or vacuums where practical.
- We apply a traditional non-repellent pesticide to the exterior only twice per year during the spring and summer months when pests are most active.
